Design the shortcuts experience when we support more public sector login shortcuts in Singpass app

Role: Designer (Solo)

Overview

Currently, the Singpass app only supports logging in to about 10 government agency services. As our user base continues to grow (3+ mil), there is more value in onboarding more government services onto Singpass app.

Design task

1. Design for a near-term vision, with about 30-50 login shortcuts in the app.

2. Design for the long-term vision, with up to 200 login shortcuts. We will need to collect necessary information from government agencies to build a more comprehensive shortcuts service.

Design assumptions

1. User behaviour: users use 20% of the shortcuts 80% of the time.

2. These 3-5 services are different from person to person. People will want to customise the shortcuts they access regularly.
